California International Arbitration Week 2024
Held March 11-14, 2024 in San Francisco and online
California Arbitration (CalArb), the California Lawyers Association (CLA) and leading arbitration institutions and organizations from around the world joined in a week-long series of in-person and online programs celebrating international arbitration in California.
Nearly 500 attendees, in-person and online, participated in a wildly successful California International Arbitration Week, held in San Francisco from March 11-14, 2024. Arbitral institutions and practitioners from China, Japan, Australia, and Korea all presented panels, demonstrating the centrality of California to the Pacific Rim. Topics ranged from Arbitrating IP Disputes, to AI in Arbitration, to the Differences in Civil and Common Law, to Ethics in International Arbitration, to Sports and Entertainment Arbitration, to so much more.
Every night saw social events sponsored by supporters of CalArb and the California Lawyers Association, the co-hosts of the event. Participants had the opportunity to get to know each other – and have fun – in a relaxed environment, a veritable tour of some of San Francisco’s finest bars and restaurants. The highlight of the week was a reception at the DeYoung Museum, sponsored by JAMS, our Double Platinum Sponsor. Thank you to all who participated and sponsored this amazing event.
We are already making plans for next year’s CIAW, tentatively scheduled for March 10-13, 2025, Location TBD. Stay tuned!
