Mr. Smith was a Lecturer in Law at Stanford Law School for many years, where he taught international commercial arbitration. He is a longstanding member of the ICC’s Leaders Group in the United States, a Board of Directors of California Arbitration, has served in the past as the Chair of the ABA’s International Arbitration Committee and as a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration in Paris.
