Biography

Mr. Andersen is a Division Vice President of the AAA and the ICDR, where he oversees the organization’s global educational programming, including arbitrator and mediator training, dispute resolution advocacy programs, webinars, conferences, and other professional development initiatives. In a prior leadership role, he led the AAA-ICDR’s global mediation service offerings. For more than two decades, Mr. Andersen has led ICDR activities, arbitrator and mediator panels, trainings, and conferences across Canada, Mexico, the United States, and other jurisdictions. He continues to work closely with industry leaders in technology, construction, energy, aerospace, aviation, entertainment, and related sectors. As a facilitator and mediator, he has conducted dozens of negotiation, mediation, and arbitration training programs for industry groups, corporate counsel, law schools, and dispute resolution professionals worldwide. He is fluent in Spanish.

Steve received at J.D. degree from the University of San Diego School of Law.
