Biography

Attorney (Admitted in Spain) and Certified Foreign Legal Consultant by the Florida Bar (USA); one of the 8 arbitrators/conciliators appointed by Spain to the World Bank’s ICSID list (2020–2026); arbitrator (ICDR-AAA, ICC and other leading institutions) and international mediator (CEDR, CPR); and specialist in technology law, cybersecurity, and data protection.
Founder of Samaniego Law. He has headed the Miami office of Osborne Clarke Inc. and, for over a decade, led the Madrid office of Bird & Bird—which he opened in Spain. He worked at the law firms Linklaters and Cuatrecasas and began his career as a lawyer at the public entity CDTI (Center for Industrial Technological Development) (the Spanish representative of ESA European Space Agency).
