Biography

Before starting Menish Dispute Resolution in 2022, Lexi was a senior member of the world-leading international disputes team at Freshfields, based in New York, Tokyo, and Singapore. She now resides in Oregon, from where she continues to help both her international clients and Oregon businesses navigate complex, international disputes and commercial challenges. Lexi also sits as arbitrator and mediator.

Lexi is also Of Counsel at Mascarenhas Law PLLC, an international disputes boutique based in New York, which handles complex, cross-border arbitration and litigation matters. In that capacity, Lexi works alongside her long-time colleagues and collaborators, and seasoned specialists, Viren Mascarenhas and Margaret Artz.

Lexi is a member of the Reserve Panel of Arbitrators for the Singapore International Arbitration Center and an adjunct professor of International Commercial and Investor-State Arbitration at Vanderbilt University Law School.

Recognized by both Who’s Who Legal / Lexology Index as a Future Leader in International Arbitration and Legal 500 as part of its Arbitration Powerlist for Southeast Asia for multiple consecutive years, Lexi has acted as counsel for corporate and sovereign clients in dozens of arbitrations under ICC, SIAC, ICDR, ICSID, UNCITRAL, and SCC rules, as well as cross-border disputes before courts in the United States, England and Wales, and throughout Asia and the Middle East. She is widely published on international arbitration and investment law matters and speaks at seminars and conferences on international dispute resolution topics.
