Biography

Rod Thompson has more than 40 years of experience in high-stakes civil trials and arbitrations in commercial and technology cases. He currently serves as an arbitrator and mediator for JAMS in San Francisco. Before joining JAMS in September 2020, Mr. Thompson was a commercial trial litigation partner with Pillsbury Madison & Sutro and Farella Braun + Martel LLP in San Francisco. While a trial partner, Mr. Thompson served as arbitrator, mediator and early neutral evaluator as his time permitted. He has served as arbitrator in dozens of commercial cases, both domestic and international.
